Our story
Where Real-World Experience Meets the Power of AI
When co-founder Juan M. Gomez Racines was working as a developer at Sunbelt Rentals, he experienced firsthand just how critical software applications are to business success — and how limiting they can be when faced with complex, real-world challenges. That frustration sparked a deeper curiosity: there had to be a better way to build systems that adapt to how businesses actually work.
Driven by this belief, Juan began exploring the potential of Artificial Intelligence, quickly becoming captivated by its ability to unlock new efficiencies and fundamentally transform business operations. He soon partnered with his longtime friend William Valencia, a seasoned software architect who shared both his vision and passion for building smarter, more flexible solutions.
Together, they set out to create a company focused on solving meaningful business problems through AI-driven innovation. They were later joined by Timo Kipp, who brought the same enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and its practical applications. United by a shared purpose and complementary expertise, the trio launched their first product: Floskills.
Floskills was born from Juan and William's realization that talent acquisition could be radically improved. By applying the latest advances in AI, they set out to automate and optimize the recruitment process — helping organizations identify, evaluate, and hire talent more effectively and efficiently.
Today, that same commitment to building impactful, intelligent solutions continues to guide everything they do.
